sold out A delightful collection of photographs and stories about old-time underground miners from the village of Minto, New Brunswick Canada. The book was commissioned by the village as part of their 350th anniversary celebration to commemorate coal mining in the vicinity of Minto. The photographs represent part of a 20 year documentary project of photographing and interviewing coal miners. Minto is Canada's version of Appalachia. The people that live in this region are wonderful story tellers and are characters in their own way. The photographs in this gallery are on permanent display in the Minto Museum.
